The caldera path is the road. One taxi from the port, one taxi back. An ATV is a souvenir, not a plan.

Day 1
Arrive after the boats

- Ferry into Athinios, taxi straight to the villa.
- Unpack, then walk the back lanes toward Ammoudi before dinner.
- Eat at a family table in town, not a sunset terrace.

Day 2
The empty step

- Coffee on the upper terrace at 6:40. That is the photograph.
- Walk the caldera path toward Fira until the cruise groups thin.
- Swim at Ammoudi. Take the stairs down, taxi up.

Day 3
Leave the postcard

- Bus to Pyrgos. The village is the island without the performance.
- Wine in the afternoon, no itinerary after 4.
- Back before the light goes apricot.

A boat that is not a cruise

- Small boat from Ammoudi around the caldera. Four hours, not eight.
- Nap. The wind does the rest.
- Last dinner at the same family table.
