The caldera path is the road. One taxi from the port, one taxi back. An ATV is a souvenir, not a plan.

Day 1

Arrive after the boats

  1. Ferry into Athinios, taxi straight to the villa.
  2. Unpack, then walk the back lanes toward Ammoudi before dinner.
  3. Eat at a family table in town, not a sunset terrace.

Day 2

The empty step

  1. Coffee on the upper terrace at 6:40. That is the photograph.
  2. Walk the caldera path toward Fira until the cruise groups thin.
  3. Swim at Ammoudi. Take the stairs down, taxi up.

Leave the postcard

  1. Bus to Pyrgos. The village is the island without the performance.
  2. Wine in the afternoon, no itinerary after 4.
  3. Back before the light goes apricot.

A boat that is not a cruise

  1. Small boat from Ammoudi around the caldera. Four hours, not eight.
  2. Nap. The wind does the rest.
  3. Last dinner at the same family table.

One more morning
